iOS 1.9.510 August 2026
Log a whole meal plan in one visit
iOS
Added
- Tap several favourites in one go - the sheet stays open, each tap logs instantly with a tick and a haptic, and the remaining-today strip counts down as you add.
Android 1.0.2210 August 2026
Multi-add favourites, smarter asks
Android
Added
- Log several favourites in one visit - same flow as iOS, shipped the same day.
Improved
- The notification permission ask now waits for the right moment - and if you say "not now", it asks again later instead of never asking again.
- More reliable subscription verification behind the scenes.
iOS 1.9.37 August 2026
A smarter notification ask
iOS
Improved
- Said "not now" to notifications? Velorific now asks again at a sensible moment - at most every two weeks, three times ever - instead of staying silent forever.
- If you're not on Strava, the ask now appears after you log a meal, when a reminder makes sense.
Fixed
- The stray "Request was cancelled" alert on refresh is gone for good.
Android 1.0.214 August 2026
Trial and subscription accuracy
Android
Improved
- The trial length shown always matches the offer Google Play is serving.
- More reliable paywall and subscription-state handling, with better diagnostics when something goes wrong.
Android 1.0.2026 July 2026
Milestone
Velorific for Android launches on Google Play
After a three-week closed beta, the Android app goes live worldwide - full feature parity with iOS, built natively in Kotlin. It even shipped two features first: the remaining-today strip while you log, and favourites grouped by meal type. The first Android customers arrived within a day.
iOS 1.9.023 July 2026
See what's left while you log
iOS
Added
- A remaining-today strip on Add Meal and Edit Meal - calories left (red when you're over) plus protein, carbs and fat remaining, visible on every tab while you log.
Improved
- Favourites grouped by meal type - Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Snack, Fuel - alphabetical within each group.
Fixed
- A "−0" appearing in the calorie breakdown on Maintain goals.
iOS 1.8.010 July 2026
Adaptive, out in the open
iOS
Added
- The adaptive adjustment now appears as its own row in the calorie breakdown, alongside your weight trend - so you can see exactly how your real-world results are steering your target.
- A small celebration when adaptive targets switch on at your seventh weigh-in.
Improved
- More honest methodology wording on recovery days and on how effort is estimated for rides without heart-rate data.
Android beta3 July 2026
Milestone
Android closed beta opens
The first Android build (1.0.16) reaches testers on Google Play - a from-scratch native client of the live iOS app, on the same adaptive-fuelling engine. Tester feedback from this round shaped features both platforms now share.
Server update17 June 2026
No more doubled rides
All platforms
Fixed
- Strava workouts occasionally syncing twice, and evening rides landing on the wrong day. Every sync path now dedupes properly - no app update needed.
Server update15 June 2026
Recovery days, protected
All platforms
Improved
- The recovery allowance after a hard day now survives light activity - logging a short walk no longer cancels it and cuts your target on the very day you need the food.
iOS 1.7.010 June 2026
A better base-calorie model
iOS
Improved
- Base calories are now clearly BMR plus everyday (non-workout) activity - so training no longer gets counted twice for active users. Existing users were migrated once, with past days left exactly as they were lived.
- Activity levels relabelled (Mostly sitting → Very active) with clearer guidance: don't count the workouts you log.
Added
- A warning when you log a workout manually while Strava is connected, to avoid double-counting.
- A "Safety floor" row in the breakdown whenever the minimum-calories floor is protecting your target.
Fixed
- Comma decimals ("18,5 g") now log correctly on European keyboards.
Server update7 June 2026
Adaptive deficit at full strength
All platforms
Improved
- The adaptive correction now reaches its full advertised ±100 kcal range, and applies on every kind of day - including hard and recovery days, where it was previously being zeroed out.
iOS 1.5.031 May 2026
Streaks and one-tap logging
iOS
Added
- A logging streak - consecutive days logged, with milestones at 7, 14, 30, 50 and 100 days. Miss a single day and it's quietly forgiven.
- Favourites as one-tap chips right on the dashboard - tap to log instantly.
Improved
- A tidier dashboard: training-day subtitle ("Moderate training day · Lose slow"), ticks on logged days in the week strip, less clutter.
iOS 1.3.024 May 2026
Notifications, your way
iOS
Added
- Per-type notification controls in Settings: workout-sync alerts, a daily weight reminder at a time you choose, and an optional afternoon nudge if you haven't logged a meal.
- A goal subtitle on the dashboard ("Lose steady") - tap it to change your goal in place.
- A banner when a recommended app update is available.
iOS 1.2.021 May 2026
Push notifications arrive
iOS
Added
- A push when a synced workout moves your eating target by 200+ kcal - so you know to eat more before you're deep into a deficit you didn't plan.
- A first-name greeting (auto-filled from Strava where connected).
- New sign-ups get their last 24 hours of Strava history backfilled, so day one isn't empty.
- A progress cue on the weight card: "X of 7 logged · N more to activate adaptive targets."
iOS 1.1.013 May 2026
kg or lb - your choice
iOS
Added
- Choose kg or lb in Settings → Profile → Units - across every weight screen, chart and entry field. The default follows your device region.
iOS 1.08 May 2026
Milestone
Velorific 1.0 - live on the App Store
Fifteen builds and three rounds of App Review after the first TestFlight upload, Velorific launches worldwide. Day one shipped the full core: an adaptive daily calorie target driven by your training, automatic Strava sync, TrainingPeaks planned-session support, AI meal estimates, favourites, weight trend with adaptive deficit correction, and the recovery-aware deficit that eases after hard days.
Server update3 May 2026
Personal, not generic
All platforms
Improved
- Protein and fat targets now scale with your body weight (~1.8 g/kg and ~1.0 g/kg) instead of fixed defaults.
- Workout calories now match Strava exactly - a unit mix-up that overstated some rides' burn was found and every affected workout repaired.
